Meet the Multifix by De Vries Hanze!

The Multifix combines two proven machines: the Cleanfix and the Minifix. The Cleanfix has been specially developed for cleaning reed. Dirt, leaves, twigs and stubble are removed before the reed is further processed.

The Minifix is a modular reed-bundling machine that processes the cleaned reed into tightly bound bundles, ready for immediate use by thatchers.

By combining both machines, an almost fully automated processing system is created. The reed is supplied from the field in large bundles and fed into the Cleanfix. After cleaning, the reed automatically moves on to the integrated Minifix, which then processes it into tightly bound bundles.

The result? With just two people, approximately 180 bundles per hour can be produced.

The Multifix is mounted on a robust trailer, making it mobile and suitable for use at any location where a 400V power supply is available.
