The DVC reed harvesting header is specifically developed for efficient cutting and direct processing of reed in the field. The header is equipped with a double knife bar system and an automatic binding machine, which immediately forms tight, bundled sheaves. Feeding is done by a chain with pushers and a conveyor belt, which is height adjustable. Double cleaning brushes keep the reed clean before it is bound.
